We were married on 26 September 1998 at the Empangeni Methodist Church, by Chris's dad. What a happy day! We have never looked back, & we can honestly say that we are proof that God has designed a perfect partner for everyone!
How we met:
We met on 8th March 1997 at a combined SCO (Student Christian Organisation)
get-together at Newlands Forest, Cape Town.
This is the
invitation that was given to us, Chris was not
going to come but because one of the leaders
encouraged him to come, he came.
After a few hours of walking, chatting, eating & throwing a tennis ball, we decided to go to the squash courts for a beginner's squash lesson for Nikki. To kill some time after that, we went to Rhodes Memorial on Table Mountain where we got to know each other better through a long chat. The rest, as they say, is history!
