If you are like me who thought that the CUBE was the ultimate achievement then you have come to the right place. The CUBE is like most complicated things in life, when you know how, it's easy. Similar to Prayer!
This solution differs to the many others in that it is (I think) easy to follow, the cube is completed in stages that are clearly defined. I can teach someone to complete the cube in 1 hour, with each of us having a cube, unfortunately I cannot be where you are, and so have done my best to illustrate the method. With the new animations of the movements provided, if you give 10 hours of your time to this solution and you have a cube with you, you can complete it. That is if you can already complete one side, otherwise it will take a little longer. It will take you a few more tries and hours to memorize the moves though.
One person used the solution and completed the cube in 12 hours. Another person who previously could complete two sides took four hours to complete the cube.
I presume that most people reading this have already experimented with the CUBE & can manage to get one side correct. If you are a total beginner then please go to CUBE basics. Note that this page takes about three minutes to download (depending on your connection) because of the animations on one page.
For those who can achieve one side or more, see CUBE Summary
Please link to this site from your home page if you would like to at http://www.chrisloanshome.8m.com/Rubics_Cube/cube_complete.htm I will gladly link to your web site if I feel that it is beneficial to me and people visiting this site. Just email me with the link.

- Some records involving cubes, great reading.
- http://webplaza.pt.lu/public/geohelm/myweb/cubbib.htm A whole lot of solutions to the cube. Amazing to see.
- A cube enthusiasts home page, some great stuff here.
- For more solutions to the rubic/k's cube excellent page
- If you would like a solution in booklet, or rather book form (30 pages) then it will cost you $10.95 , and it will be in MS word format, ready for ring binding.
- http://www.jeays.net/rubiks.htm another great page that showed me how to orientate the center pieces. This site has the same solution as mine, and it is good to read the same solution written in a different way.
- This is a great site that enables you to enter your cube on the screen and then it will show you how to solve it. The orientation of the sides is a bit difficult to understand.
- This is the shortest solution I have come across, but I have not confirmed it myself yet. But once again it is well worth the look. http://www.mts.net/~rhoffman/3x3x3/twopages.htm
